Every Birth Story unfolds differently. Through my questionnaire and many chats over the phone I will know exactly what you are comfortable with and how you would like me to capture your little one joining you earth-side.

Birth FAQ’s

  • • You will have me on call for you 24/7 starting at 38 weeks.
    • Unlimited coverage during active labor, birth and two hours postpartum.
    • Password protected online gallery
    • ENTIRE SET of high resolution images (80+ images) in colour and b&w
    • 4 images delivered the day after birth

  • Of course they can join in! Think of me as a fly on the wall. I am there to capture YOUR birth story!

  • It’s simple and painless. After receiving an inquiry from you (you can connect with me here), I’ll send you my pricing within 48 hours. Once you are ready to book, just click the ‘BOOK NOW’ button from within my pricing. From there you fill out my birth contract.
    A $500 retainer is required to hold your due date on my calendar. Full payment of birth package is due by 37 weeks.

  • You will receive your images via private online gallery 7-21 business days after giving birth or after birth balance is paid in full (whichever is later). As long as the balance is paid off, you will receive 4 images the next day after birth.

  • I am based out of Sooke, BC. Serving Duncan, Sidney, Sooke and everything in between. I will certainly travel but there may be an added fee for locations up island.

  • You bet! I’ll give you 15% OFF your birth package when you book my Baby Bump + Newborn package.
    And 10% Off when you book a maternity session.

  • I deal with an amazing lab! You can order prints and other photo products directly through your gallery. I encourage my clients to spend a little extra to get top quality.

  • Certainly! We can meet up at a coffee shop or via zoom!

    A signed contract and a retainer are required at the time of booking.

I had an (unplanned) unassisted home birth that was very intimate, and Sherida captured it so raw and perfectly.
